Caroline Lawson is three months away from graduation. Until then, she's keeping her head down, pretending not to be crushed by her family or heartbroken over the girlfriend who took off for California. But when her best friend Madison vanishes, Caroline knows she has to get involved. She has reasons not to trust the police, and she owes Madison -- big time. Soon Caroline discovers that her own secrets about the hours before Madison's disappearance are nothing compared to the secrets Madison's been hiding. It's only when Caroline learns that there are other missing girls that she begins to close in on the truth.
