Summary
For the greatest trapper in the country, there's no place like the Rocky Mountains, but it's never quiet on the western front. Preacher and his son, Hawk, are riding the High Lonesome when the mountain air is split by screams. Bursting our of the tree line, gund spitting fire, Preacher and Hawk drive off a gang of ruthless trappers that kidnapped Caroline, a white woman who has been raised by the Crow since childhood. To get her home, they will have to blast their way off the mountain, gunning down whatever is in their way
