Summary

Recently engaged L.A.-based P.I. Regan Reilly is invited to Hawaii by her friend Kit for one last girls' weekend before she ties the knot. But at the Waikiki Waters Playground and Resort, the body of Dorinda Dawes, who wrote the hotel newsletter, washes ashore with an exquisite, historic, and valuable shell lei around her neck--one stolen from a Honolulu museum thirty years before. The resort's manager, Will Brown, suspects murder and--as a series of strange mishaps afflict Waikiki Waters--begins to wonder if someone is trying to bring down the whole establishment. Lucky for Will, he happens to meet Regan in the hotel lobby and convinces her to get on the case
