Summary
Set to take up the mysteriously vacated job of town marshal, Robert quickly finds himself mixed up in a community governed by its own rules. Robert's big-city temperament makes it impossible for him to fit in, or to understand the uncivilized behavior displayed by the townspeople: the sultry blond femme fatale, the ten-gallon hat and bolo-wearing town bully, and the sinister doctor with a penchant for maniacal cackling
